Our history: from garage to international brand
Yachticon has been synonymous with high-quality care and maintenance products for water sports for over four decades. The success story began in 1982, when Astrid Nagel founded the company. Back then, it was a simple but ingenious idea: Aqua Clean, a product for preserving drinking water, which she bottled in her own garage together with her husband Herbert and her son and current managing director and owner Oliver Nagel.
From this first product onwards, Yachticon pursued a clear goal: to develop high-quality, innovative and easy-to-use solutions for water sports enthusiasts, boat owners and outdoor fans. What started out small is now an internationally recognised brand with a range of over 10,000 products. Yachticon products are available in more than 50 countries worldwide - from specialist retailers to large online platforms and specialised yacht outfitters.
