High-quality 2-component epoxy primer for use on GRP, steel, plywood or aluminum. Suitable as a primer and barrier coat above and below water. The water vapor-tight primer has very good adhesion and prevents corrosion on steel and osmosis on GRP substrates (at least 5 coats required). The primer can be used with 1- and 2-component paint systems and antifouling. The substrate must be dry, clean, grease-free and intact. The substrate must be roughened by sanding before applying the primer. Then remove the sanding dust thoroughly. Mix and blend the base and hardener thoroughly and carefully.
- Processing / surface temperature: +5 degrees C to +25 degrees C,
- Color of the mixture: white
- Mixing ratio: base:hardener - 5:1 by volume
- Drip time: approx. 2 hours (20 degrees C)
- Drying time: dust-dry after 2 hours (20 degrees C)
- Coverage: approx. 8.5 m²/liter with 60 µm dry film thickness
- Recoating interval with itself: min. 4 hours, max. 7 days (20 degrees C),
- Contents: 625 ml base (white) + with 125 ml hardener.
Dose base and hardener precisely in a ratio of 5:1 by volume and mix thoroughly!
