Reliably and thoroughly removes diesel and oil residues from drinking water tanks and pipes.
10 litres are sufficient for 100 litres of contaminated water.
Gebrauchsanweisung:
- Completely empty the water tank containing the diesel fuel
- Pour the diesel remover into the empty water tank
- Fill the water tank with water
- Turn on all the taps
- Allow the solution to work everywhere for at least 8 hours*.
- It is best to drive the boat or caravan, or shake the tank accordingly, so that the diesel fuel emulsifies better in the water and all tank walls are wetted with the solution, allowing everything to dissolve.
- Then rinse thoroughly and several times and thoroughly clean the water tank with PURA TANK.
- If the diesel has already penetrated deep into the plastic walls, the product can only work to a limited extent.
*How long can the diesel remover remain in the tank?
The recommended contact time is at least 8 hours, ideally overnight. Longer exposure times of up to 24 hours are possible. A significantly longer standing time (e.g. several days or a week) is not recommended, especially for older or open-pored plastic tanks. This could unnecessarily stress the material.
If there is still a diesel odour after the first pass, please carry out the cleaning process again instead of leaving the solution to work for longer.
